Doditaal, at an elevation of 3024mt above sea level, is situated north of Uttarkashi. Crystal clear waters, surrounded by dense oak woods, pine, deodar & rhododendrons, are what a trekker can look forward to in this trek with, of course, views of Himalayan peaks such as, Banderpuch and Kala Naag.
Itinerary
Today we take you to a hotel at Rishikesh. In the evening, you can experience the divine Ganga Arati (worship of the river Ganges) simply stroll along or sit by its banks.
Today, we start early after breakfast to drive to Uttarkashi. Situated on the bank of roaring Bhagirathi, this town is famous for the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM). The drive to Uttarkashi is beautiful and along the Bhagirathi river.
We'll arrive at Uttarkashi in the afternoon. After lunch and some rest, we'll walk up to the Kashi Vishwanath temple followed by a tour of NIM.
We'll stay the night at a hotel / Tourist guest house.
We drive for 12km to Sangam Chhatti and then trek for 7km to Bhebra. Camp Overnight in Guest Houses/ Tents
Today's trek is a gradual uphill climb through beautiful forests. Camp Overnight in Guest Houses/ Tents
Today, we again trek for 5km to reach Dodital. We set up our camps here and enjoy the peace and tranquility around us. In the afternoon, we explore the surrounding areas.
After breakfast, we begin the trek by ascending the Darwa Pass Ridge (4115m). After reaching the top, we trace our steps back to our camp site at Dodi Tal.
After breakfast, we descend to Bhebra and set up our tents here today.
We trek down for 7km to Sangam Chhatti and then drive 12km to reach Uttarkashi.
Today, after breakfast, we drive you to back to Rishikesh and assist you in transfers to the Railway Station.
