Experience the thrill of striding into one state from another in the Lamkhaga Pass trek! A challenging yet scenic trek spanning across 10 days, the Lamkhaga Pass connects Garhwal, Himalayas to Sangla Valley of Himachal Pradesh.
The trail starts from the village of Harsil in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. It takes one across the picturesque Kyarkoti trail. You will cross the Lamkhaga Pass to enter the village of Chitkul in Himachal Pradesh.
Walk along alpine forests of Cedar, pine and birch and cross little streams along the way. Marvel at the emerald green waters of the Kyarkoti lake.
You may also chance upon large herds of sheep being herded into the meadows for grazing. Most of these are from Bagori Village which is famous for its woolens. Stunning views of Mt Srikanth and numerous unnamed peaks will fill your heart to the brim.
